Reuben’s Culinary Weekends
in the Franschhoek valley

If your group are culinary enthusiasts, enjoy being wined & dined and want to cook with Chef Reuben Riffel you are now on the right page.

Everybody will be treated as a VIP and no expense is spared. These courses are well planned for the master chefs among us and for the ones that want to get away from microwave meals .

Third Column

Included in these weekends are:

  • Demonstrations by Reuben (6 dishes over the weekend)
  • exp. signature dishes/ canapés/ healthy cooking/ 30 minute meals/ kiddies meals/ dinner party menus/
  • or anything you want to learn more of.
  • Four course Dinner and wine pairing at Reuben’s Restaurant Franschhoek
  • Demonstration ‘braai’ on a local wine farm and a vintage wine tasting
  • Breakfast/Brunch demonstration
  • Excursions to local farms
  • Tapas lunch at a local restaurant
  • Local Whiskey and Vodka Tasting (Jorgen’s Distillery)
  • Local Chocolate Tasting (DV Chocolate)
  • Sun downer Canapés and Franschhoek Pass Winery MCC tasting together with a nature walk
  • Guided/ unguided tour of the town
  • Transport for weekend is included (transport to and from Franschhoek is excluded but can be arranged)

  • ‘’Cookbook’’ of the weekend is included
  • Signed Cookbook and personalized apron is and optional extra


Weekends are from the Thursday 16:00 to Sunday 12:00.
These times are all approximate and are flexible.
